Chiropractic treatment

You are not the only one in the Netherlands with back pain. At least 80% of the Dutch population experiences lower back pain on one or more occasions. Lower back problems are characterised by stiffness and pain, but sometimes also by tingling, tingling and numbness at the spot itself or radiating to the legs.

(Lower) back pain is excellent to treat with chiropractic care.

Causes of back complaints

There are several causes of back pain. Complaints that develop gradually and back pain that suddenly rears its head. One cause is not worse than the other but requires a different method of treatment.

Gradually

Sitting in the same position for long periods of time (desk work or long days in the car)

Lots of repetitive movements (constantly making the same movements)

Stress, fatigue, poor sleep, illness, cold and moisture

Hormonal changes

Compensation of posture by other complaints (e.g. walking differently due to an ankle sprain). This can also happen unconsciously.

Suddenly

Ongecontroleerde abrupte bewegingen (plotselinge verdraaiing , niezen, misstap etc)

Incorrect lifting

Genetically determined

Get immediate treatment in Eindhoven or Valkenswaard.

Treatment of back pain

The chiropractor will first ask some questions about your back pain, overall health but also looks at any other complaints. Based on what has been told, the chiropractor will do a targeted examination to find out the exact cause. This is done by palpation and orthopaedic – and neurological tests.

After the examination, it is determined whether chiropractic can help you with these complaints. If so, we draw up a treatment plan and give advice on good posture, sports, nutrition and further ”do’s and dont’s”.

Should this not be the case, we will tell you honestly and give advice on where best to get help.
