We will take you through a complete chiropractic evaluation:

Palpation

Palpation is used to detect spinal misalignments or subluxations. Subluxations can distort nerve communication between your brain and the rest of your body, affecting your body’s ability to self-heal.

Range Of Motion

A physical assessment to determine whether or not your spine has full and correct range of movement. Subluxations reduce proper spinal movement and flexibility.

Balance

When you have subluxations your balance may be affected. Scales are used to determine left and right weight distribution, indicating your center of gravity and demonstrating any imbalance that you may have.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Spinal misalignments may affect different parts of your nervous system. The Emwave HRV is used to assess your autonomic nervous system which controls the automatic functions of your body and gives an indication of how much stress it is under.

Computerised Spinal Postural Analysis

Subluxations affect your spinal alignment and therefore your posture. A computerised posture evaluation is performed to measure how much postural distortion you may have. These tests will be repeated at various intervals throughout your care to track your progress.

SECOND VISIT

Wellbeing Scale & Report of Results

Every person has different needs and goals and on this visit you will fill out a wellbeing scale allowing us to create a tailored chiropractic program for you.

We will then discuss the results of all tests previously performed and answer the following key questions:

  • What exactly is going on?
  • Is chiropractic right for me?
  • How long will it take to achieve my goals?
  • How much will it cost in time and money?

Once all your questions have been answered you can receive your first chiropractic adjustment.

We will schedule your next visit and the following day your chiropractor will call you personally to see how you are doing and answer any further questions you may have.

REGULAR VISITS

Adjustments, Education and Ongoing Care

Adjustments

You can think of your regular chiropractic visit like a Formula 1 “pit-stop” for your well-being: time-efficient and effective. You are busy and your time is precious so your ongoing visits are shorter and we work hard to ensure that you are not kept waiting.

REVISION VISITS

To determine the progress of your health

Your goals are our priority and so we schedule revision appointments to make sure we are on target and that you are happy with your care. You will fill in a short questionnaire of your progress and we will repeat the initial tests to see how your body is changing. These visits only take around 10-15 minutes longer than your regular visit.
